European State aid law is facing reform in key sectors of the economy as a direct or indirect consequence of the economic crisis. These reforms are driven by different objectives aiming at consolidating, clarifying and developing existing rules. The Court of Justice of the EU has also contributed with some key decisions on specific issues.
