The EU offers many funding possibilities in the area of Renewable Energies, Research and Infrastructure for Utilities because environmentally friendly and innovative infrastructure solutions are massive investments. Energy and Environmental projects can be funded through EU money from national sources or directly from Brussels. Funding programmes such as FP7 or CIP focus on development of innovative energy solutions and research. LIFE+ supports environmental projects.
