Beschreibung:

Combining PPP with EU Funds offers new financing options. Especially in times of hard financial conditions the usage of optimal financing is important for Member States’ budgets.

The European Seminar explains possibilities of co-financing methods and shows how to implement PPP projects and how they comply with national and EU regulation. Participants will learn more about a special funding programme designed for PPP needs.

The main focus will be best practise examples e.g. Infrastructure PPP Projects in Spain or Financing Hospital Project in Czech Republic. Additionally participants can profit from discussion rounds, plenary sessions with all speakers and case studies.

Speakers with an excellent know-how and practical knowledge will be for example Marjut Santoni (Head of Unit 3 DDG.L.3, Directorate General Economic and Financial Affairs, European Commission), Dr. Goetz von Thadden (Principal Advisor, European PPP Expertise Centre, European Investment Bank), Alex Conway (European Programmes’ Director, London Development Agency), José Ángel Presmanes Rubio (President, Spanish Centre for Excellence and Knowledge on PPP’s (CECOPP)) or Eva Kovařovicová (Member of Division of Regulation and Methodology for PPPs, Ministry of Finance, Czech Republic).
