Beschreibung:

Formal failures and misleading wording of applications, project documentations and other official documents can cause delays, misunderstandings and sometimes also rejection.

Legislative texts, papers for specialist committees, project proposals or final reports still demand a bureaucratic language. Accuracy and clarity are important.

This seminar enables participants to correctly use grammar and style for submitting information to European institutions or international project partners in the most possible effective way.

There will be plenary and workshop sessions, small group tasks with step-by-step exercises in writing skills and special vocabulary training units. ´

Topics will be:

• Most Common and Typical Pitfalls in EU Funds Documents

• Improving Grammar Skills

• Effective Writing in EU Funds English (Proposals and Reports)

• Linguistic Style

• Writing of Official Documents (Dos and Don’ts)

Please note that participants are requested to bring working examples to the language course, e.g.:

• EU project proposals

• EU reports

• EU project descriptions

Those documents will serve as working drafts for exercises and discussions.
