The European Commission has given more responsibility for effective control systems to Member States in the programming period 2007-2013. So they have to improve management & control systems work efficiently. Financial control became stronger and Irregularities can have serious consequences.

The unique European Summer Academy “Financial Control of EU Funds” offers within five days information on system audit, audit operations, sampling, on-the-spot checks, annual audit reporting, international audit standards, eligibility of expenditure, state aid and public procurement.

Special attention this year will be ‘irregularities and fraud’. More then 10 experienced European speakers will strengthen the expertise of the attendees in this field. Based on a successful daily knowledge check participants will get the Award of Diploma of the European Academy for Taxes, Economics & Law.
