European BioPerspectives 2008 will be the fourth conference which unites 21 major biotechnology and biosciences organisations in presenting an excellent scientific programme from many areas of research. European BioPerspectives 2007 attracted almost 2,000 scientists. This year, European BioPerspectives will be in parallel with BIOTECHNICA the leading exhibition for the European biotech industry. The programme will span the following topics:

* Bioinformatics / Metabolic Analysis/ Protein Engineering

* Functional Genomics / Systems and Synthetic Biology/ Proteomics

* Industrial Biotechnology (Bioprocess Engineering/ Biocatalysis/ Plant biotechnology)

* Molecular and Personalised Medicine / Regenerative Medicine / Personalised Nutrition

* Chemical Biology / Natural Products

European BioPerspectives 2008 will comprise the Science-to-Market Conference of the European Association of Pharma Biotechnology (EAPB) and Hannover Medical School's REBIRTH Conference on Regenerative Medicine.
