PHORMS: an innovative concept in bilingual education
As globalisation gathers pace, interest in Germany in bilingual education is reaching unprecedented levels. But making bilingual education work is easier said than done. The innovators at PHORMS have developed a unique concept in education which draws on the very latest research in bilingual education. Using small class sizes and modern teaching methods, the expert teachers at PHORMS are able to develop individual talents with maximum effectiveness. PHORMS schools also place an emphasis on their international orientation, which helps to expand the horizons of young people. Establishing a new school costs money and to raise capital PHORMS has pioneered in Germany a new and novel approach, where the school is set up as a private limited company. PHORMS continues to expand, with a school in Hamburg planned for later in 2008.
