Firstly, Izabela Szymańska is a student. She is doing her Masters degree in international relations at the University of Wrocław. Secondly, Izabela works at the Infopoint of the European Union in Wrocław (working with the Regional Representationof the European Commission and European Parliament Office). Currently, besides educating Polish children and youth about the activity of the EU, she also does seminars and training courses for people in other European countries (such as Moldova or Georgia). The topics she focused on in the last few months was disinformation and cybersecurity. In her free time she loves to travel and explore different cultures. Izabela also reads quite a lot - especially female authors. She is also a part of the "Projekt Europa" Student Scientific Association, which promotes the ideas of European integration and cooperation through various activities.
The audience will get to know Poland and learn some fun facts about Izabelas hometown Wrocław. Izabela will also talk about how Poland joined the European Union in 2004 and how Polish people view the EU. She will also explain why her work is so important.
