This European workshop will particularly focus on Audit of Operations, Statistical Sampling, System Audit requirements and On-the-Spot-Checks.

The speakers:

• Jo Kremers, Senior Audit Manager, Audit Authority EU Structural Funds, Central Audit Services of the Ministry of Finance in the Netherlands
• Kaur Siruli, Head of Financial Control Department, Ministry of Finance, Estonia
• Nataša Prah, Director of Budget Supervision Office, Republic of Slovenia

 
will elaborate together with the participants on the following questions:

• Which strategies to apply to comply with the Commission’s requirements;
• How to conduct system audits;
• How to tackle specific problems arising in system audits
• How to attend to simplified cost options, audit program, audit approach and framework of references;
• How to conduct audits of operations, on-the-spot-checks and statistical sampling;
• How to react in case of irregularities and fraud;

 
This workshop is targeted to public officials or employees from Audit Authorities, Managing Authorities, Certifying Authorities, Intermediate Bodies, Beneficiaries of EU Funds, National and Investment Banks, Private Banks, Regional Development Agencies, National and Regional Courts of Auditors, Regional and Local Governments, Municipalities, Consulting Companies, Advisory and Audit Services and other institutions.

This Workshop is also an optional course for the „Master of Management in EU Funds“
