Education is one of the most important instruments to implement a future of peace and welfare in Europe. The European project can only be successful if Europeans are involved in the integration progress. Through its neighbourhood policy and its special relations with Russia, the EU furthermore emphasises the importance of cross-border exchanges for Europe.
Against this backdrop it becomes obvious that education of and exchange among information disseminators from different fields of educational work should play a key role: Only if they are optimally trained in terms of methodology and contents, information disseminators will be able to fulfil their role successfully.
We want to put this principle into practice and invite information disseminators from Germany, Russia and other European countries to learn the latest teaching methods concerning Europe and democracy, to test and think about them.
The participants will
- discuss with renowned scholars and experts
- visit the European institutions in Strasbourg and get to know a new place of extracurricular learning
- extend their intercultural understanding
