The Summer European Academy “Encounter Europe and Russia” combines central aspects of European integration with policy fields concerning the European-Russian relations and stresses their individual as well as common interests. The programme includes lectures, workshops and field trips
The participants from Germany and Russia

•  discuss Europe’s multifaceted political, economic and financial dimensions and current
   developments of Russian politics with renowned scholars and experts,

•  deepen their knowledge of Europe und Russia in binational working groups,

•  visit important European institutions and capitals, such as the European Parliament
   and the Council of Europe in Strasbourg and the European Central Bank in Frankfurt,

•  extend their intercultural understanding.

The programme is a voyage of discovery for each participant, including valuable intercultural and experience-oriented elements.
