The task of Member States in the European Union is to implement programmes in their regions. This requires an in-depth knowledge on all programming levels.

Tasks of Responsible Authorities:

• Ensure successful implementation of projects

• Being up to date concerning changes on regulations (EU Policies)

• Monitoring, Evaluation and Auditing of programmes

• Managing cooperation between different Authorities

This European Seminar gives an overview of the current challenges EU Funds specialists are confronted with. Speakers from the European Commission will inform about key elements of EU Funding Policies as well as changes and challenges in the new funding period.

Participants will learn how to implement programmes successfully and Strategies for smooth selection of projects. With the aid of best practise reports and small group tasks attendees also go through the workload of monitoring, evaluation and annual reporting procedures.
